Minor Surgery
Minor surgery is available at the practice in a specialist clinic. If you are worried about any lumps or moles please make an appointment to see a doctor.
Immunisations
All children need to have completed a course of immunisations by the age of five. Adults should also keep their vaccinations up to date. Please discuss your requirements with a practice nurse.
Family Planning
We offer a comprehensive family planning service for pills, injections and implants, coil fittings, caps and other barrier methods, as well as for emergency contraception. If you require advice, please consult with our clinicians.
Services
Health Visitors
Health Visitors are employed by the Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust and based at Findon Children and Family Centre and Durrington Health Centre, and can be contacted on 01273 696011. They run a "walk in" baby clinic in the surgery every Friday morning.
Maternity Care
A healthy pregnancy starts before you become pregnant. If you are on regular medication for conditions such as diabetes or epilepsy, please consult your doctor. If you think you are pregnant you can now self-refer via the website
Mental Health
There is a mental health advisor accessible through the practice. Referral is via your GP.
Midwives
Our midwives are based at Durrington Health Centre BN13 2RX. They provide antenatal and postnatal care, support and education to those who are pregnant.
